Racktag uses our unique holder and insert system to ensure the latest status is instantly visible at the point of use.

The green insert (OTSI 5) should be used when the racking has passed inspection without observations. It contains comprehensive inspection details and next date on the front and a log for weekly inspections on the reverse.

The orange insert (OTSI 6) should only be used where intermediate work is needed on the particular racking bay / unit. It does not put the equipment into Do Not Use status (this would be empty holder) but provides a caution that some work is needed. Once intermediate work is complete, it can be replaced with the green insert.

Helps you to comply with legislative requirements and good practices of:

• Inspecting and maintaining equipment at suitable periods as deemed appropriate by a risk assessment
• Ensuring employees are informed if equipment is not safe to use
