HSE statistics on fatal injuries in the workplace 2008/09

Published 24 June, provisional data for the period April 2008 - March 2009 shows a statistically significant decrease in the rate of fatal injury to workers, and reinforces an underlying downward trend that appeared to be levelling off in recent years.
